Gabbar Singh Review

Watched Gabbar Singh @Jayaram theatre, Vijayawada

Gabbar Singh has created a lot of hype post its audio release. For any movie after such hype, if anything goes wrong with just make the movie a disaster. Hopefully everything did well with Gabbar Singh, at least in my opinion. The movie starts with Young Pawan Kalyan (Aakash) fighting with his dad and leaving the village. He returns back to the village after a few years as a Police. The story is old patterned but Pawan Kalyan makes it a point to carry the entertaining part with him. Pawan Kalyan is the backbone of the entire flick.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that this movie is very Good. After such hype, audience will definitely have very high expectations. I should say that the movie has successfully reached the expectations of the audience. Especially the fan of Pawan Kalyan.

Punch line:  Pawan Kalyan’s Powerhouse

Highlights:

  1. Production values of Parameshwara Arts are good.
  2. Cinematography by Jayannan Vincet was OK.
  3. Pawan Kalyan’s comedy and dances (he tried hard for his dances this time
  4. Actions shots conceived by Ram – Lakshman are fresh and natural and Pawan Kalyan’s martial arts techniques added grace to the fights.
  5. Editing is adequate and crisp in the first half
  6. The Intro Scene of Pawan Kalyan.
  7. Harish Shankar’s Dialogues are good and brings the required punch and entertainment. The Dialogues have a bit of Trivikram’s flavour at times.
  8. Bramhanandam’s Cut-out episode in the second half.
  9. Shruthi Hassan doesn’t have much footage in the script but suited her role well and did well to her part.
  10. The Antyakshaari episode in the second half brings lots of smile and is a good entertainer.
  11. Costumes by Spidos (Rajesh) are good especially in Pilla song is impeccable.
  12. Pawan Kalyan has done the best of dances in his career.

Lowlights:
 ·   The Second half towards the end could have been much pacier.
·     The Background score could have been better especially in the fights.
·     Kev Keka the audio chart buster could have been canned with much more power in the
movements and dance. (Or else, did I expect more?)

My Suggestion: Don’t miss it. Coz if you miss it…U will be missing, the best entertainer of summer releases.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.75/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

My rating as a fan : 4/5
