Teenmaar Review

Hey guys...wassup?
Watched Teenmaar today@INOX.

Yeah, I understood that I have seen the move this late. Couldn’t make it as I went to Pune regarding my Office work.
Well, straight to the review. Many said that the movie is not up to the mark or is boring in the first half. Or doesn’t carry the feel of “Love Aaj Kal”.
If my guess is true. If Love Aaj Kal is made as it is in Telugu without any modifications, and if it is not Pawan Kalyan and if it is not Trivikram for Dialogues, I bet you…the movie would have definitely bombed at the box office.

Frankly speaking the first 20 mins cause a bit boring moments. But the movies take pace after the introduction of Arjun Palvai. It would have been very good if the introduction of Arjun Palvai only with the college fight scene in Varanasi-It would have been very effective when it comes to the screenplay part. Any ways. As RGV always says. Film Critics would never make a hit film. I agree with him on this point. May be that is true. Well, to my consideration, this would have really helped in lifting up the tempo for the Introduction of Arjun Palvai’s character rather than introducing both the characters right from the start of the movie. Pawan Kalyan has just performed Michael Velayudu’s character with ease and has done true justification to the character. Trisha has filled the glamour part with her stuffed beauty
:P and looks stunning in some really good costumes. Paresh Rawal has done his part with ease too.
Sonu Sood look handsome in his outfits and done his character with the required tempo and feel.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good. People who have already seen Love Aaj Kal would have no go other than comparing this movie with it. But people who haven’t watched it would definitely like the movie.

Highlights:
  • Pawan Kalyan – his ease in Michael Velayudam’s character and his subtle and powerful performance in Arjun Palvai’s character.
  • Trisha’s best stunning looks ever. She has got the required oomph factor after gaining some weight.
  • The best cinematography in recent Telugu films and nice locales (Infact, I want to watch the movie again just for cinematography – Can u believe this?? Yeah even I have asked the same question myself and found the answer to be yes :) )
  • Songs have picked up on screen rather than for the audio.
  • Trivikram’s dialogues have just added a boost to the movies success. Simple and entertaining.
  • Production value of Parameswara Arts.

Lowlights:
  • Pawan Kalyan’s on the spot dubbing (his voice has been dubbed on the sets using a boom mic like in International movies) is not up to the mark – Infact spoiled the feel in some scenes.
  • Kirti’s hair do is worse and doesn’t make look good on screen. (I like the heroine Harleen Kaur’s character in Love Aaj Kal)
  • Pawan Kalyan’s lyric sync doesn’t match the song which irritated me. But like the song picturization though.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.25/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
