Mirapakai Review

Firstly, I would like to wish all of you a very Happy Sankranti……

Checked out Mirapakai movie today @INOX

Mirapakai is  yet  another undercurrent cop story in the recent past. The best part of it was that it is revealed in the first place itself. It is a good entertainer and Ravi Teja carried the entire film on his shoulder. It is hard to find a hero who gives another chance for a flop film maker. Ravi Teja trusted Harish Shankar and gave him another chance, after the failure of SHOCK film with Raviteja. Seems like Harish took advantage of Ravi’s energy and designed the script which is tailor made exclusively for Ravi Teja.

Richa Gangopadhyay is cute and did well for her role. Gives a voluptuous feast to the mass audiences. But feels ugly sometimes in some scenes. Don’t expect RICHA always like she was in Leader movie(that is typical Shekar Kammula’s way of showing a heroine) J. Mirapakai show her other side of Leader in MIRAPAKAI – spicy as it goes :P

Well coming to Deekshah Seth, she has nothing new to do in the movie apart for a few scenes and being a rich Bad guy’s daughter. To be frank, she looked hotter in Vedam rather than Mirapakai.

Well coming to songs,  Raviteja showed some dancing skills in the first song of the movie. His energy is as usual throughout the movie. I felt songs which are shot in foreign location which come in the second half of the movie failed in the lighting department. Most of the visual seem like they are burned (May be proper care isn’t taking by the cinematography department). The “Adigora Choodu (hero’s intro) song” and “Gadi Thalupula” are my facourites in this movie and are choreographed well.
Felt like, I missed Brahmanandam with Raviteja after watching their combo in KRISHNA movie. Though Ravi Teja filled the gap with his comedy, but Brahmanandam as his side kick would have fetched a lot (anyways no regrets though).

Well, straight to the point...I feel the movie is good. And brings good humor and entertainment for all classes of audiences.

Highlights:
  • Mass Maharaja (as titles suggest) Raviteja and his energy.
  • Good Background Score, and typical Thaman’s style of background.
  • Good action episodes.
  • Mohan babu's example of Fish and fisherman from Pedarayudu movie and sarcastical comparision paradoies from various other telugu hit movies.
Lowlights:
  • Second half’s narration pace was a bit slow when compared to the first half. Songs come immediately in 2nd half which disturbs the narration of the movie.
  • Sunil is wasted.
  • Rerecording should have been more better.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.20/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
