Money Money More Money Review

Money money more money

Watched Money money more money today@INOX, ICON Mall

Having pinned hopes for this movie as it is the sequel to the most famous MONEY of RGV and the fame that it has brought to the Khan dada character in the 90’s. It has attracted me to watch the movie and was waiting for this movie for the sole reason that it has Bramhanandam.

The movie starts introducing Khan dada as a real estate businessmen where he loses all his money due to the downfall of the market. The movie is a remake of the Hindi film ‘Darwaja Bandh Rakho’, a film directed by J.D. Chekravarthy himself. The story revolves around four unemployed youths (J.D.Chakravarthy, Brahmaji, Kevin Dev and Mukul Dev) who face severe monetary difficulties. After having had enough, they decide to kidnap a rich man’s daughter to make a quick buck from the girl’s father. The rest of the movie is a series of errors which bring a few smiles to the audiences.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Not Good. The Concept is’nt new though, and movies with such wafer thin storyline should have a tight screenplay and planned execution. It seemed like J.D.Chekravarthy just encashed the title just for the business reasons.

Punch line: Kidnap and money
Highlights:
  • Brahmaji’s performance is noteworthy
  • Cinematography is good but could use it well though by the director.
  • A few comedy scenes.

Lowlights:
  • Bad comedy which doesn’t bring smiles at all.
  • Slow movie duration (as there are no songs and fights).
  • Khada dada character has been spoilt to the core. Fans of this character will have a hard time watching bramhanandam.
  • Asha shaini’s and Tamil comedian Jeeva’s characters are a mere waste.
  • I wonder how J.D.Chekrevarthy brought the big player RELIANCE into this movie’s association.

Well coming to the rating, it is 2/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Kandireega Movie Review

Kandireega
Watched Kandireega today@INOX, ICON Mall

It’s been a week late that I watched it after the release.
 Anyways Better than never.
Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Ram coming to Hyderabad from Anakapalli for studying his degree, where he meets Hansika and falls in love. The story runs around him, hansika, Sonu sood in the first half and suddenly there is a twist in the second half. Well the remaining part has to be watched on the screen though : ) .

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Average. The Concept is a woven commercial flick and the story is designed exclusively for Ram and his energy. The Director has handled the script well and the movie doesn’t seem like a fresher movie. The movie has all that you need for a commercial flick with entertainment and mass elements. The title has no justification with the story by any means.

Punch line: Comedy and Commercial elements.
Highlights:
  • Production values of  Sri Sai Ganesh Productions
  • Cinematography is good.
  • Ram’s impeccable energy and performance. He has put lots of effort for this movie and it shows up clearly on screen.
  • Sony Sood should be appreciated for accepted this character. He has done a tremendous job by his performance and comedy which is entertaining and not like his routine Bad Guy type of characters he has done in Telugu Movies so far.
  • Champakamala & Preme Poinadile Songs were canned well.
  • Background is good.
  • Srinivas reddy comedy brings few smiles in the intro scenes especially when he imitates Mikkilineni garu.
  • The Idea of Telangana Slag for Aksha is new and brings smiles at times in the movie. Aksha is apt and has done a good job with her performance for her character.
  • Fights give us a fresh feel. Great job by the Stunt Coordinators Stun Siva.
  • Swathi’s cameo role is good.

    Lowlights:
    • Hansika puts on weight and doesn’t look that good when compared to Aksha. She needs to look out to her weight. Hansika should also develop her dancing skills.
    • Slow paced narration in first half.
    • Lots of characters keep on coming into the flow of the story which irritates the audience at times.
    • Story has nothing new. Seems like it is inspired from various previous Telugu Run and Chase kind of Stories modified with some twists.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.15/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

    Dhada Review

    Watched Dhada today@INOX

I expected the movie wouldn’t go well after seeing the Trailers of the movie. This is coz of Naga Chaitanya’s Chocolate boy kind of Image he got with Em Maya chesave and 100% Love. But, after listening to the audio of Dhada I’ve got a positive interest to watch the movie, especially for the music which Devi has scored. After hearing from a few friends who had watched the movie on Day 1. Thought of dropping to watch the movie, but being a long weekend, couldn’t resist myself from watching the movie.

Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Vishwa’s (Naga Chaitanya) convocation ceremony with an Introduction chasing sequence. The story revolves around human trafficking and the characters relating to a small incident there by recurring a sequence of incidents.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is the Worst movie I have seen in this Calendar year. There is no point in making the movie after listening to the story line. I wonder how Kamakshi  Movies banner has started this movie after listening to this narration from Ajay Bhuyan. I expected that a person who has done his graduation in IIT would have done a minimal research and make his script very Logical or at least convincible.

Punchline : DHADA DHADA DHADA (Hero ki villan ki kaadu; Movie ki Audience ki.)
    Highlights:
    • Good Camera work in some parts.
    • Production values of Sri Kamakshi Enterprises
    • Devi’s Songs (relating to the Audio part- Ignoring the Videos)
    • Sriram’s natural & subtle action.
    • 2nd Fight in the Godown.

    Lowlights:
    • Illogical narration (The worst screenplay possible).
    • Mediocre Songs (The songs really disturb the narration of the movie)
    • Kajal (Hero ne Bad anukunte….Heroine dani amma mogudu laga undi).
    • I wonder what Ajay Bhuyan (Director) thinks about the audience, he show the heroine taking pictures with a Digital SLR camera, and finally develops a reel in the dark room. How can he miss such simple logic damn it.
    • Editing flaws.
    • DI and VFX spoiled towards the climax shots.
    • Worst Costumes and Hair Do ever, possible for Kajal.
    • Choreography and misplaced songs. Believe me, it is such a pain for audience whenever you come across a song in this movie.
    • Bramhanandam is wasted yet again in another Telugu film. The comedy track between Bramhanandam and Ali sucks.

Well coming to the rating, it is 1.75/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Watched “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” @Sailaja Theatre, Vja.

Coming to the movie. This movie is about Genetic Engineering of Humans in order to develop the intelligence of Apes who are our ancestors. The experiment goes out of way to some extent. The movie is dealt with the human treatment of animals, DNA manipulation, corporate greed, family values.

There is nothing special about the film. It is watchable once. Frieda Pinto has done her character and has nothing special relating to the pace of the story.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Average and is watchable once.

    Highlights:
    • WETA FX team has done with ‘Caesar’ here is astonishing, pushing back the boundaries of what the technology can do. He just looks so natural.
    • The battle on the Bridge between Apes and cops on horseback in startlingly fresh and original and hence unpredictable.
    • Some emotional scenes carry out well with the audience.

    Lowlights:
    • Too easy to predict story line. Kind of any typical Telugu film story.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
