Nenu Naa Rakshasi

Nenu Naa Rakshasi

Watched Nenu Naa Rakshasi today@Jayaram,Vijayawada.

After a woooh RANA from DUM MARO DUM, then releases "Nenu Na Rakshasi" exactly after a  week gap. It’s like raining offers for RANA. The new found Macho man of Telugu industry and awwwww Love RANA for girls :)

Coming to the movie, The movie takes off with Ileana's(here onwards called ‘Illu’ in this review i.e the way I call her :P) suicide, and is followed by Puri Jaganath’s voice over about suicides in our Nation. The concept and storyline is very new and we should appreciate Puri Jaganath for taking this script to make a film. RANA has reckoned and accepted this script as this is his 2nd movie after Leader, where his character is quite opposite to this movie. Ilu, Subbaraju and Abhimanyu Singh have done their role’s well.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Average. The Concept is fresh and new. It isn’t a family entertainer though,The mass could narrate to the movie as that of the multiplex audiences.

Highlights:
  • Production values of Lakshminarasimha Productions.
  • Good and thought provoking story line.
  • Illu alias Ileana (Yes of course, I do agree with u girls RANA too :P )
  • Puri Jaganath’s witty and logical dialogues.
  • The cute little girl's performance.
  • Abhimanyu Singh and Ilu’s Performances.
  • Anup Rubens Background score is fresh and impressive.
  • Vishwa's dubbing for Abhimanyu adds villanism and rough flavour to the character. This worked well for the character.

Lowlights:
  • Narration is a bit slow and boring at times.
  • Less scope for entertainment. Ali’s comedy is vulgar at times.
  • Rana need to improve his dances a lot as this generation heroes are very good at it. Hence he needs to work on it to stay in the competition.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

RIO Movie Review

Watched RIO @INOX, Pune in real 3D.

Going to this movie is an unexpected and was actually a surprise. To be frank, enjoyed every moment which related to this movie.

Coming to the movie. This movie comes from the director Carlos Saldanha who made great 3D Aniamtion features like ICE AGE, ROBOTS . This movie is about saving to Mccaw birds which are extinguishing species. Blu(the hero McCaw) in this movie is taken to RIO de Jeniero to mate with (Jewel) in order to develop their existence in the ECOSYSTTEM. The adventure is pumped up at RIO at carnival time which brings laughs to the audience and glue the audience to their seats by the visually grandeur of the movie.  The movie has all it requires to a 3D Animation feature to ride the Box Office- the Comedy, the Story, Emotion, Sentiment, enjoyable twists and turns, above all wonderful Music by John powell(Music composer for ICE AGE, KUNGFU PANDA,HANCOCK,ROBOTS,etc..).

One of my favourite song from this movie is Hot Wings – I wanna Party featuring Will I Am, Anne Hathway, Jamie Fox..

Fly Love by Jamie Fox should also need a special mention which has an amazing romantic video in the movie.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is very Good. RIO is one of my favourite animation movies after LION KING & SHREK. RIO has Exotic eye candy and infectious beats to make a fun animated movie.

Highlights:
  • Carlos Saldanha Direction and Don Rhymer Screenplay.
  • Jesse Eisenberg & Anne Hathway’s dubbing for Blu and Jewel respectively.
  • Music by John Powell featuring Will I am, Taio Cruz, Jamie Fox.
  • Parallel Love Track between humans and birds which is hardly unexpected.

Lowlights:
  • Felt like there are more number of songs for a 3D Animation feature.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.75/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself). It is a must watch movie. Check it out in 3D if possible, U will really enjoy the movie to the core.

Mr.Perfect Review

Watched Mr. Perfect Yesterday @INOX.

Many said that the movie is good, family entertainer etc.
Mr. Perfect released with the required hype and the crowd grabbing publicity from Sri Venkateswara Creations. As, it is a Dil Raju film general public will definitely have some expectations on the movie. The recent movies from his banner Brindavanam and Gaganam got HIT Talk at the Box Office.

Coming to the movie. The movie takes off with  children playing and stuff in a regular family entertainer format of Dil Raju’s previous formats. To be frank and specific, there is nothing new in the movie. It’s simply a remix of both the Director’s and the Producer’s previous films i.e. Santosham and Bommarillu. It seems as if Dil Raju asked Dasarth to make his Bommarillu in Santhosam Format. Apart from this there is nothing new in this film.

Mr. Perfect is like processing Santosham, Bommarillu, and Brindavanam in a mixie for 2.5 hrs.
Dasarath’s Direction is partly good.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Average. There is nothing new in the movie and the movie is quite predictable. It is like any other Dil Raju’s family entertainer. I guess this movie got a positive talk as there are no films as of now and it can benefit from the summer season as well.

Highlights:
  • Sri Venkateswara Creations production values.
  • Good Cinematography.
  • Prabhas Costumes and Kajal Sarees.
  • Tapsee looks good as Modern Girl.

Lowlights:
  • Prabhas dialogue diction is not up to the mark for emotional scenes. It doesn’t carry the feel of the situation.
  • Dr.Bramhanandam is wasted to the core and his characterization tests the patience of the audience.
  • Screenplay doesn’t go smooth and direction of Dasarath is good at parts.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Teenmaar Review

Hey guys...wassup?
Watched Teenmaar today@INOX.

Yeah, I understood that I have seen the move this late. Couldn’t make it as I went to Pune regarding my Office work.
Well, straight to the review. Many said that the movie is not up to the mark or is boring in the first half. Or doesn’t carry the feel of “Love Aaj Kal”.
If my guess is true. If Love Aaj Kal is made as it is in Telugu without any modifications, and if it is not Pawan Kalyan and if it is not Trivikram for Dialogues, I bet you…the movie would have definitely bombed at the box office.

Frankly speaking the first 20 mins cause a bit boring moments. But the movies take pace after the introduction of Arjun Palvai. It would have been very good if the introduction of Arjun Palvai only with the college fight scene in Varanasi-It would have been very effective when it comes to the screenplay part. Any ways. As RGV always says. Film Critics would never make a hit film. I agree with him on this point. May be that is true. Well, to my consideration, this would have really helped in lifting up the tempo for the Introduction of Arjun Palvai’s character rather than introducing both the characters right from the start of the movie. Pawan Kalyan has just performed Michael Velayudu’s character with ease and has done true justification to the character. Trisha has filled the glamour part with her stuffed beauty
:P and looks stunning in some really good costumes. Paresh Rawal has done his part with ease too.
Sonu Sood look handsome in his outfits and done his character with the required tempo and feel.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good. People who have already seen Love Aaj Kal would have no go other than comparing this movie with it. But people who haven’t watched it would definitely like the movie.

Highlights:
  • Pawan Kalyan – his ease in Michael Velayudam’s character and his subtle and powerful performance in Arjun Palvai’s character.
  • Trisha’s best stunning looks ever. She has got the required oomph factor after gaining some weight.
  • The best cinematography in recent Telugu films and nice locales (Infact, I want to watch the movie again just for cinematography – Can u believe this?? Yeah even I have asked the same question myself and found the answer to be yes :) )
  • Songs have picked up on screen rather than for the audio.
  • Trivikram’s dialogues have just added a boost to the movies success. Simple and entertaining.
  • Production value of Parameswara Arts.

Lowlights:
  • Pawan Kalyan’s on the spot dubbing (his voice has been dubbed on the sets using a boom mic like in International movies) is not up to the mark – Infact spoiled the feel in some scenes.
  • Kirti’s hair do is worse and doesn’t make look good on screen. (I like the heroine Harleen Kaur’s character in Love Aaj Kal)
  • Pawan Kalyan’s lyric sync doesn’t match the song which irritated me. But like the song picturization though.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.25/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
