Lovely Movie Review

Watched Lovely today@INOX LEPL

Lovely Movie has been in news for quite a long time. I guess the main reason is because of B.A.Raju garu as he runs a film magazine and he is also an established PRO in the Industry. This is the 4th directorial venture of Jaya, and  2nd movie for ADI. The movie has been more popular with its success of the Audio. The Audio of Lovely has got a good response. Well, seeing all this, I happened to watch this movie today. The movie starts with Rajendra Prasad walking away from a school function getting irritated to the songs and dances of today’s children. The movie then shifts towards Hero Adi’s Intro and gets into the main track of the story. It is pretty, a predictable movie.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that this movie is Average. I do agree that there is a new line in the story. The concept is simple and good, but that alone can’t help to fill up the entire movie. The script and screenplay need to gel with each other to get a coherent composition. The Director, Jaya has really worked very hard to make this movie as an out and out commercial flick. The director needs to be appreciated for her ability of making a commercial flick, she has succeeded in doing this. Apart from the new story line, everything else is pretty predictable.

Punch line: Oka Ammai, Oka Nanna, Oka Lover - Adi story.

Highlights:
  • Production values of R J Cinemas are good.
  • Cinematography was good apart from a few glaring mistakes.
  • The Facebook relation between Vennela Kishore & Chinmayee Ghatrazu brings us smiles and has a lots of entertainment quotient to it.
  • Music by Anup Rubens is adequate to the film and the music is an instant hit.
  • Fights are well composed.
  • “Lovely lovely” & “Ninnu Chusina” songs are picturized well.

Lowlights:
  • New Story line. First half is good, second half lacks the necessary pace and the climax get diluted eventually.
  • Director B Jaya succeeds in maintaining good pace and tempo in the first half of the film but loses it in the second half.
  • The heroine is just ok to the character. But is not that pleasing. Audience can’t bear her for one or two movies.

My Suggestion: Lovely movie might work mainly because of its good entertainment quotient and lively pace in the first half. You can watch this movie once if you have no other movies to watch.

Well coming to the rating, it is 2.75/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Ee Rojullo Movie Review

Watched "Ee Rojullo" movie today@INOX LEPL

The Promos of Ee Rojollu had created more hype for the movie. Though it as a small budget movie. The Promos has been an instant hit with the Youth.
Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Sri finding out that his Girlfriend has used him for his money and will leave to USA and Shreya is also wexed up by the proposals of her friends. Both of them don’t want to be in any relationship with any other person from then on. They then decide to be away from any sort of relationships and plan to lead life individually. This is when they fall in love accidentally from the situations which rise here on. The rest is to be watched on the screen. Such low budget movies with content must be encouraged.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good. The Concept is simple and straight. The Director is very clear about what he is telling and succeeded in replicating his scrip on to the screen. Using fresh cast has brought in the necessary feel and freshness to the movie. The movie is fun to watch especially to guys, this is coz of its double meaning dialogues in most places not to mention the gestures too are at times carry obscenity in them. Hence in my view girl might not like this to some extent leaving aside the urban youth. Director has done his job perfectly fine considering his string length budget and resources.

Punch line: Today’s youth (Boys & Girls) and their perspectives over relationships.
Highlights:
  • "Ring Tring" song steals the show and is an asset to the movie.
  • Hero Srinivas has done his job well. He looks like a guy next door, everybody will connect to the character of Sri, coz of his looks.
  • Cinematography of Prabhakar Reddy is simple and cool. Using a DSLR at his best.
We don’t notice any difference between and regular film camera and a DSLR what so ever. Credit to him.
  • Music by JB is adequate to the script and the music director has done his job well.
  • Has the necessary entertainment and comedy quotient.

Lowlights:
  • First half is good, second half is a bit lengthy; of course the main point of the story lies in the second half.
  • Reshma (the heroine), looks like Trisha in most of the shots. Looking good though :p
  • Too many adult dialogues (Double meaning) and obscene gestures.
  • Might not be liked my girls.
My Suggestion: It is a definite go for Guys. Don’t miss it.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.5/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Nuvva Nena Movie Review

Nuvva Nena

                              Watched Nuvva Nena today@INOX LEPL

Happened to see Nuvva Nena today without any plans. It just happened.
Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Allari Naresh’s chain snatch and robbing purses and get caught to Police is a comical way after which the Inspector plans for a robbery and plan to share the hefty amount together. But Allari Naresh and Ali give a twist and cheat the Inspector and goes away with the money. This is a typical triangular Love story among Sarwanand, Allari Naresh and Bramhanandam and Shriya. The confusion and small revenges among the lead heroes creates the necessary entertainment and fun quotient.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie has nothing new and includes the nuisance of Prema Desam only to the story line part. The movie brings laughs in some scenes and we can’t even say that this is a typical comedy film (Generally expected when Allari Naresh is a hero). People expect a new story when the duo – combo of Allari Naresh and Sarwanand are making a comeback after Gamyam, which is strictly absent for this movie.

Punch line: There is no PUNCH in the movie, except for a few comedy scenes.

Highlights:
  • Costumes of Sharwanand are very good in this movie.
  • Allari Naresh did his Job well as an Actor, though nothing new for his characterization.
  • Ali has done his part well as a side kick of Allari Naresh.
  • “Blackberry” & “Neeli Neeli” songs are good onscreen.
  • Vimala Raman has brought in the HOTNESS quotient with a special song.

Lowlights:
  • The script isn’t executed properly and has nothing new to entrall the regular movie audience.
  • Mediocre songs music and background.
  • Shriya isn’t that gorgeous as she is in her old movie. But has done her glamorus part to some extent. She would have avoided this movie. (I wish she could have avoided as a Fan of hers.)
  • Mediocre parody songs from Bramhanandam. There is not even a single shot when the lip-syncs with the original lyrics. I wonder why nobody in the technical team ever noticed this. Or is it pure negligence?
  • I still wonder why Kovai Sarla still dresses in those modern attires, when there merely suit her at this age.
  • Editing flaws.

My Suggestion: U can avoid this movie. Though once watchful for Allari Naresh keeping in mind that this isn’t his type of his routine comedy flick.

Well coming to the rating, it is 2.5/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Ishq Movie Review

Watched Ishq yesterday @LEPL INOX

Ishq has raised its expectations after the making “Kodibaaye Lacchama” song has been released in YouTube. It has from then on increased the expectations. Pawan Kalyan releasing the audio of Ishq has created more interest and hype amount the cine circuit. The audio has been an instant hit with Kodibaaye Lachama & Priya oo Priya becoming chartbusters. The trailer has raised the expectation to the next level.

Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Ajay in hospital and titles rolling in. Hero Nitin is then introduced in a hostel hanging him to reach to a party on time for the ambulance. The movie is a soft romantic Love story with a few action elements.Hero and Heroine meet in airport where a few situation make them interact more intensively. Well the remaining part has to be watched on the screen though : ) .

Ishq is by far the best grosser in Nitin’s career and Nitin is at his best in his looks after Sye. The major credit must go to the ace Cinematography P.C Sreeram. Nitya Menon steals the show with her looks and performance. She has done extremely well with her performance and her own dubbing is a real asset to her. She also sang a song with Adnan Sami in this movie.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good and Fresh. The Concept is simple and refreshing love story woven with the necessary entertainment quotient, All in all Ishq is a good refreshing Love story.

Punch line: Visual Romantic Love Entertainer
Highlights:
  • Production values of Sresht Cinemas are very astounding.
  • Cinematography of P.C Sreeram is just the Crown of the film.
  • I just loved the song picturisation of  “Sutiga choodaku”,  “Kodibaaye Lacchama” “Oh Priya Priya” & “Chinnadana Neekosam”
  • Nitya Menon, her costumes, her performance, her own dubbing needs a special mention.
  • Anoop Rubens is also an asset to the movie.
  • Color Grading is also good and the tints used in songs create the necessary feel for Love and Romance.
  • Nitin at his best.

Lowlights:
  • Slow narration in the second half.
  • Less humor quotient. More Comedy would have been more entertaining.

My Recommendation: Definitely watch it.

Well coming to the rating, it is 3.25/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
