Love Failure Review

Love Failure

Watched LOVE FAILURE on Saturday @Prasadz Screen1, Hyderabad

Sorry guys for the late review. The movie is based on the same short film of Balaji mohan which he did two years ago. Coming to the movie, the movie starts with the breakup of the relationship between Siddarth and Amala Paul.
The storyline is the same from the short film and there are minor changes
in order to cope up for the movie pattern. Egos of Man and Woman are dealt individually.

Well, straight to the point...I feel the movie is good. Making a movie from a short film script isn’t that easy coz, we directly say the point to be told in a short film with a few minutes. Whereas in movie the duration is more and there must be interested and gripping screenplay to glue the audiences to their seats. The director has succeeded here in making the necessary changes and additions to the script.

Highlights:
  • Good Camera work by Nirav Shah.
  • Nice picturization of “Parvathi” song.
  • Simple comedy which brings laughs at right moments.
  • Siddarth’s and Amala Paul’s Performances.
  • Suresh has done justice to his role.

Lowlights:
  • Thaman’s music isn’t of much help to the music apart from a few background scores.
  • The movie feels a bit slow in the 2nd half. But pick up by the climax.

My Recommendation: Once watchable.
Well, coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Nippu Movie Review

                           Watched Nippu today@Santhi Theatre, Vijayawada

I expected the movie wouldn’t go well after seeing the content of the Trailers of this movie. Director turned Producer YVS Chowdary spoke a lot about this film in the Audio function and tried his level best to market the movie. After much marketing and hype the movie has released finally today.

Coming to the movie, the movie takes off with Raghu babu and others demanding a Builder for commission money for the continuation of his work in the site. Dealing with Kabjja and Land mafia in Hyderabad. RaviTeja’s intro wasn’t up to the mark where in the audience start to lose concentration there itself. There is no point in 1st half relating to the story till a few minutes before the interval. The rest is a mixture of various plots woven and mis executed simultaneously. The Director included Friendship and Love in the script, he failed to convince with his weak script which showcases neither the friendship scenes nor the family drama.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie will be one of the Worst movies Ravi Teja has ever made. I still don’t understand how Director Gunasekhar has convinced Producer YVS Chowdary with this story. The Narration is weak. There is no single point agenda in the story. Lines from various movies have been directly grabbed and created and artificial story. It doesn’t have the required substance to cope up with the Box Office.

Punch line: Idi NIPPU kaadu....’THU’PPU
Highlights:
  • Production values of Bommarillu Movie
  • Deeksha Seth has done her part well.
  • Sriram’s natural & subtle action.
  • Alibaba song is canned well.

Lowlights:
  • Illogical narration (The worst screenplay possible).
  • Mediocre Songs (misplacement of songs)
  • Rajendra Prasad is a mere waste for this storyline. He is wasted to the core.
  • Thaman’s music didn’t click this time. Background score also doesn’t inspire.
  • I don’t understand why Ravi Teja has done those stunts in this movie. We generally see such stunts in Bala Krishna (he and Vijayakanth (Tamil) are known for such stunts) movies. (Not to hurt any fans. But he is known for such stunts in the film circle.)
  • Bramhanandam is wasted yet again in another Telugu film.

My Suggestion: Strictly avoid this movie.
Well coming to the rating, it is 2/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu

Watched  Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu today@INOX

My first movie on a Valentine’s Day.  Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu will be one of those few Hindi movies I watched in the release week.

Coming to the movie, It is the story of Rahul, a boy who belongs to an upper class family and wants to be exactly like his dad, and typical manic pixie dram girl called Taira, of similar age, jobless, but with a completely different perspective of the world. The two accidentally meet on Christmas eve, accidentally get drunk and accidentally get married. Because of their diametrically opposite world view, they have their share of arguments, moments and laughs that result in a strange friendship.

Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good with different storyline and screenplay. The Concept is kind of fresh and narration of the script good in parts. I felt the last 15 mins of the movie was like BOMMARILLU in Telugu. It’s a family entertainer and clicks well with the Multiplex audience.

Punchline : New Climax
Highlights:
  • Production values of Dharma Productions.
  • Good story line.
  • Direction and screenplay of Shakun Batra
  • Imran's best effort till date
  • Good Climax.

Lowlights:
  • Screenplay is slow at times like many of the recent Hindi flicks
  • Predictable most of the times.
  • First Half would have been much crispier

Well coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
