Pilla Jamindar Review
Watched Pilla Jamindar today@INOX, ICON Mall
Went to PILLA JAMINDAR unexpectedly today. But, the movie was unexceptionally good. It was and out and out entertainer especially with sensible and undercurrent fresh comedy and sensible at the right moments with a good pace in the narration.
Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Good. It has a simple concept which is woven with an undercurrent message regarding the relation of money and people. How Humans are using the thing as persons and persons as things.
Punch line: Comedy and Entertainment quotient along with sensible dialogues.
Highlights:
• Production values of Sri Shailendra Cinemas are apt and sufficient for the story.
• NANI has done his part with ease and he resembles like any guy next door. He has
exceptional comedy timing.
• Srinivas Avasarala & Dhanraj need a special mention for the performances.
They are at their best in this movie.
• Characters design is simply superb and each & every character has its own weight to the story.
• Rao Ramesh & Bindhu Madhavi has also done their part well.
• The special mention and the best part and strength of the movie are “Dialogues”.
Dialogue writer Chandra sekhar have a great chance of building up a good career in his department. I’m just in love with each and every dialogue, especially the sensible and thought provoking ones.
• Ayyayo Jebulo dabbulu poyene song has been rewritten for the situation of the hero’s obstacles and
complication which arrives for his misbehaves in the hostel.
Lowlights:
• Music doesn’t attract the audience and the songs are kind of boring except “Jebulo dabbulu poyene” song.
• Second half has been dealt with less entertainment when compared to the first half and this might seem to bore some. But the beauty of the film actually lies in highlighting the human values and its relation with money.
• Hero have less scope for performance in this kind of story but the heroine has done her part well.
My suggestion: It is a definite GO. Feel good entertainer.
Well coming to the rating, it is 3.5/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).

Oosaravelli Review
Watched Oosaravelli today@INOX, ICON Mall
After the disastrous Shakti, NTR comes with Oosaravelli with lot of hype and expectations. The audio of Devisri Prasad has already become a chartbuster. The movie starts with Jr.NTR being kidnapped by the terrorists. He meets Thamana who is a fellow passenger in the Bus. The movie is of the Variations of the Character justifying the title Oosaravelli.
Well, straight to the point...I feel that the movie is Average. The storyline has the required Adrenalin of a commercial flick and has the entire required plot where it has all the stamina to test the Director’s skill. I strongly felt that this characterization would be an apt one for Ravi Teja or Allu Arjun. Coz of their energy levels. Though Jr.NTR has done his part well, he doesn’t seem to be similarly built throughout the movie. He has put on weight in some scenes and he is slim in a few scenes. This might be coz of the long duration for which the movie has been taken.
Punch line: Storyline and Background
Highlights:
- Production values of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra are Impeccable.
- Cinematography is good apart from a few glitches caused by VFX.
- Few comedy scenes and expression by Jr.NTR.
- The VFX for the Introduction of Jr.NTR needs a special mention.
- Thammana’s performance in the second half should be tremendously applauded. She has yet again proved that she isn’t just for the glamour part like any heroine. She has done a wonderful job for the performance part.
- Background by Devisri Prasad just adds the required amenity to the movie.
- Story by Vakanta Vamsi is good.
- My favorite songs on screen are Sri Anjaneyam (it carries the emotion of the movie to the next level), Niharika Niharika, and Brathakali.
Lowlights:
- Getting bored of Prakash Raj’s same old DON roles, who lives in abroad and comes in the middle of the movie.
- 2nd Half seems to a bit boring with slow paced narration.
- The entertainment Quotient in the second half could have been a bit more.
- Yelango Yelango & Dandiya songs have been spoiled.
- Jr.NTR’s mismatching weight throughout the movie and his hairstyle does suit to the character.
Well coming to the rating, it is 3/5 (This is my personal opinion on this particular movie - U watch the movie and decide for yourself).
